Join us for fellowship, worship, and an encouraging word from Robert Oglesby as he speaks on “Can You Hear Me Now?” Gen Z entered the world with technology in their hands and social media shaping their relationships. The church is competing with a multitude of voices. Robert will share observations about students in the church and classroom. He will share strategies on how the coming generation can still hear God’s voice in our world.

Our regional Equipping for Ministry gatherings aim to equip church leaders with tools for ministry, to provide them with times of fellowship and worship with other leaders, and to build ongoing relationships with other congregations in their area. All of these are so important during these difficult times, when so many church leaders feel alone, isolated, and frustrated.

Special Guest: Robert Oglesby

Robert Oglesby has worked with churches for over 40 years, 15 of which were at the Southern Hills Church of Christ in Abilene, where he served as youth and family minister and staff administrator. In 1999, Robert started full-time at ACU, where he teaches ministry classes, directs the Center for Youth and Family Ministry, and coordinates the Ministers’ Support Network. He was selected as the Teacher of the Year in 2014-15. Robert specializes in youth and family ministry and is passionate about training ministers, consulting with church leaders, and working with churches in crisis.

We design Equipping for Ministry gatherings primarily for ministers, elders, and other church leaders.
