In an unstable time when ministers and church leaders face challenging dilemmas, how do we faithfully be the church and carry out God's mission in our time? Come join us at the Northeast Church of Christ on Saturday, January 25, for a time of equipping and renewal. Researchers and professors from Abilene Christian University and the Siburt Institute for Church Ministry will help us think about effective leadership in the current day, including sessions on developing our skills as leaders, helping our young people retain and develop their faith, navigating intergenerational needs in the church, and maintaining a spiritual disposition appropriate for church leaders.

Schedule
Our morning will begin with registration/check-in, a light breakfast, a welcome, and a time of worship, followed by our first keynote address of the day. Afterward, we’ll have our first round of breakout sessions, followed by lunch. The afternoon will feature two more plenary sessions and more time in your track. After the final plenary session, we will conclude with more worship and some concluding remarks. We’ll publish the complete schedule here soon.

Who should come?
This event is designed to equip a variety of congregational leaders from the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area, including elders, ministers, deacons, Bible-class teachers, and leaders’ spouses.
Registration
Registration is $25 per attendee.
Your registration fee includes all sessions, breakfast, lunch, and any physical materials (e.g., handouts) presenters may make available to registrants
Refund Policy
The following elements comprise our refund policy:
If you cancel your registration more than one week prior to the event (i.e., up to Friday, January 17, 2025), we can grant you a 50% refund.
If you can no longer attend and wish to substitute someone in your place, please contact the Siburt Institute office as soon as possible so we may make the necessary arrangements. If substitutions are made after January 17, there are no guarantees that dietary needs can be accommodated.
In the event of illness or an emergency, a full refund (minus a processing fee) may be granted at any time, provided the registrant notifies the Siburt Institute prior to the event.
No refunds will be granted to no shows, which are defined as persons who register for an event but who neither cancel their registrations nor show up to the event.
All cancellation and substitution requests must be made in writing and directed to Renee Paul, Siburt Institute program manager, at siburtevents@acu.edu.
